$\LaTeX$ in LibreOffice Impress
I'm currently trying to prepare a presentation for my first ever committee meeting (eeks!), and I am using LibreOffice Impress. I found this LaTeX add-on and now equation presentation won't be my downfall (phew!)
After downloading and installing the app from:
http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/texmaths-1
Open a new Impress instance and you will find a $\pi$ icon in the upper left hand tool bar. Type your equations in good ol' $\LaTeX$ and it will be displayed as an svg or png. The equation is saved so you can edit as well!
